The "black and white" photographs seen this book were originally taken using a variety of classic film cameras and were developed with an age-old process that involves using light-sensitive, silver halides suspended in a gelatin emulsion on acid-free paper.This process was popular throughout the early 20th century, and results in images that are characterized by sharp detail and a wide tonal range from deep black to bright white.Extremely delicate to time, these images have now been digitally preserved by the photographer in a catalog of works for future generations.

Patrick Hendren of Rusty Bell Forge has become a family tradition, creating everthing from blades to dinner bells, jewelry and art pieces. His hooks are made of forged steel using traditional blacksmithing techniques, each one shaped by fire, hammer, and imagination.
