DAVE GOODRICH || POWER SONG TRIBE

Virginia-based artist and musician Dave Goodrich has spent his creative life exploring the connection between sound and visual expression. Best known for his work as a songwriter, recording artist, and producer, Dave has long maintained a parallel passion for the visual arts. Alongside his music studies, he explored sculpture and pottery, and over time expanded into painting and design—creating artwork for many of his own recording releases as well as promotional and visual media connected to his music career.

Dave began working with hand-painted silk after being introduced to the medium by his wife Sandra. Drawn to the fluid, expressive nature of dye moving through silk, he developed an organic approach that allows color and movement to unfold naturally across the fabric. Using rich French dyes on pure silk, his abstract compositions often evoke elements of nature, light, and the cosmos, resulting in layered designs that feel both vibrant and contemplative.

Dave’s silk works have appeared in boutiques, galleries, and fashion settings, and his visual creations continue to evolve alongside a music career that includes more than seventeen commercial releases and recordings featured in television broadcasts across six continents. Through both music and visual art, his work reflects a lifelong exploration of creativity, energy, and the shared human experience.

“Art is the same language whether it’s sound or color. A melody, a brushstroke, or a line of dye moving through silk are all ways of expressing what it feels like to be alive and human.
