BEN MASON
Ben is an, artist, musician, and author who lives in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, on the site of a 3000 year old Indian village. It is here, on sacred land, that Ben creates his songs, art, and stories embedded with the passage of those who came before him. As a mixed media constructionalist, his visual creations are influenced by the philosophy of Aboriginal and tribal art. His panels often contains artifacts, found objects and pieces derived from nature that host a deeper calling and purpose. Though some of his work may evolve accidentally, most of Ben’s creations contain mysterious, concealed images each with a story to be told.
Ben continues to record, play piano and sing songs he’s written about his life and the world around him. His memoir, “ Sex, Trucks, and Rock ‘n Roll…A Spiritual Journey” released in 2024 spans fifty years of his life, from his transition as a touring rocker to the founder of a moving company and an artistic repair business, while his spiritual awakening led him to fatherhood and the sacred land he now resides.
